We’ve had quite a few snow days here this week. I always appreciate during this kind of weather that we live close to our cute little town. That means walking distance to a market, coffee shop, restaurants, a wonderful bakery, and some great snow hills! Kids have been in and out all week, coming in for hot cocoa to warm up from the chills of the snow. While some of my friends have had cabin fever, I am enjoying the kids, long walks in the snow with my dog, and the overall slower pace of life. I’ve even managed to get quite a bit of design work done by holing up in my office for a few hours at a time. Shh….don’t tell, but I’ve appreciated the extra time with all the activities that have been cancelled. Hey, I could get used to this!
I love how peaceful it is with the white trees drooping in with the heavy snow. No wonder so many people like a white interior in their homes, it can be very peaceful! (I had a wonderful picture to upload, but was having technical difficulties!)
